Past perfect tense
– digunakan untuk situasi dimana terjadi tindakan berturut-turut di waktu
lampau. Maka kejadian tersebut dinyatakan pertama dengan past perfect tense,
lalu kemudian dengan past tense. Contoh: I had eaten breakfast before I went to
school.
